Fully equipped one-bedroomed apartment with own entrance and large terrace

Apartment Priora is part of an old Italian farmhouse. It faces south west with a wonderful view of the Sibillini mountains. It is constructed of traditional stone, some of which has remained exposed in the rooms.The apartment is about 50sq. m. The loggia outside the apartment provides the ideal dining venue for those warm summer evenings or an excellent shaded lounging area during the day. The living area contains a modern fully equipped kitchen including a microwave, gas cooker and hob, fridge/freezer, toaster and filter coffee machine. There is a large French window to let plenty of light into the room. A table and chairs allow you to dine indoors if the weather is cool, while a sofa affords some comfort when relaxing afterwards. There is satelite TV, a DVD player and sound system in the flat. We have a small library of DVDs for guests. Should the weather be inclement a wood burning stove will lend the apartment a feeling of cosiness. For very cold days there is the additional convenience of a full central heating system. The apartment has one bedroom containing a double bed and suite in the Arte Povere style. The floor is of oak planking while the ceiling is constructed in the traditional manner using chestnut beams and cotto tiles. A large French window allows lots of light into the room.
The bathroom comprises a toilet, bidet, shower and washbasin.

Outside a large terraced garden on two levels has been created for guests to use. The garden has stunning views of the mountains. It faces south-west, however some shade is provided by the old oak trees that surround the property. The garden comprises paved and grassy areas as well as flower beds.There are plenty sun loungers available.A communal washroom is available to guests with a washing machine, sink, ironing board and iron. A small library comprising books, DVDs and games has also been set up.

Casa Carotondo is located in the province of Macerata, in the commune of San Ginesio but conveniently close to the picturesque town of Sarnano for shops, market and a wide range of restaurants. It sits atop a small hill surrounded by wood and farmland with. There are wonderful views all around but to the west the views of the Sibillini Mountains are stunning. A number of important medieval towns with their respective cultural riches such as Macerata, Tolentino and Ascoli Piceno are within easy reach. The Sibillini Mountains are close offering opportunities for hiking, cycling and many other sports. If all that sounds too much just drive up to the mountain passes, have a picnic and take in the views. The Adriatic coast of Le Marche with its blue flag beaches also beckons. An excellent location for watersports, lounging in the sun or trying out those beach-side fish restaurants. Casa Carotondo offers the ideal location for a holiday of culture, activity or peaceful relaxation.

To secure a booking a deposit of 30% of the total cost is required. This is fully returnable up to 8 weeks before the arrival date in the case of cancellation. Full payment is required 4 weeks before arrival. Payment can be in sterling or Euros, as a cheque, bank transfer or by paypal.
