"Garden Cottage" is very secluded since it is located in a walled, tree-planted, shady garden where you can enjoy the delights of al fresco dining. There is also an upper courtyard which is not overlooked with a couple of sun-loungers which catches the sun, ideal for sun worshippers.
The 3 bedrooms are some distance away from each other which affords privacy.
Off the top floor master bedroom is a large roof terrace with lovely views over the town to the mountains in the far distance.
On the ground floor "Garden Cottage" has a well-equipped kitchen adjoining a dining room and a separate sitting room with door to the garden.
On the first floor are 2 twin bedrooms (each with 2 single beds), a newly re-fitted shower room, gallery and inner hall with door to the courtyard.
The master bedroom is located on the top (second) floor - it has a double bed, en-suite shower room (newly re-fitted) and door to the roof terrace.
A baby's cot is available on request.

In 2010 it is only available for renting during the months of June, July & August.
Note: the house is currently being upgraded & redecorated (winter 2009/10) so photos were taken prior to works being started.
This charming Saronic island which is home to a plethora of artists means that Hydra has the feel of a tourist resort (especially as you enter the port area), as well as an artistic community and a traditional Greek island all at once.
As no cars are allowed, exploring is done on foot or by donkey along the terreced steps in the town area or earthen tracks and terraces as you leave the the town and move ever higher.
As you wander around Hydra town and Kamini (the area furthest from Hydra Harbour which is mostly resisdential) you may feel transported back to another time or very much in the 21st century depending or where you find yourself.
Higher up in the town, common sounds are donkeys' brays, cockerels' cries or the clip-clop of the donkeys' hooves on the cobbled lanes and terraces.
The town offers traditional island and Venetian architecture. It has charming churches and monasteries and a stunning landscape well worth seeing up close.
There are beaches and places to swim within walking distance or by water taxi.
