Accommodation is four cottages, accessible to all with ground floor bedrooms and adapted bath/shower rooms, natural slate/ yorkstone paving,slip resistant floors, under floor heating and fully equipped adapted kitchens. All the cottages retain evidence of their original function, for example, the stone troughs in the pigsties. A cot and high chair are available if required. A wheel – in shower chair and toilet riser seat are also available. Linen and towels are provided at no extra cost and all heating is included.

All cottages are mobility level 3, hearing and vision level 1. All have wide doors to all rooms. In addition, there is an accessible communal lounge/ games room with open log fire for groups to get together. There is a TV, video player, DVD player, Hifi and a selection of games, books, tapes, cd’s and dvd’s.

This traditional hill sheep farm is set on a south facing slope, close to the village, road and railway station. The farm is set in the North York Moors national park, in the Whitby district and surrounded by Heartbeat country. The sea is just 7 miles away.
