This family home with its country style feel offers a refuge of peace in which to unwind.

There are three bedrooms.

The master bedroom on an upper level has its own balcony, the second bedroom has sea views and the third bedroom is self contained with its own door into the garden.

You have complete privacy around your plunge pool (the pool has a pump which makes it possible to swim against a flow of water) whilst the house has several places outside to sit in the terraced gardens.

The kitchen has a warm coutry style home from home feel and although there is no seperate sitting room the kitchen offers a sofa and comfortable seating around the table and is the natural hub of the home.

The whole house and gardens are laid out in a rambling organic way that is charming and interesting.

This is as much a home as a holiday let thus retaining warmth and charater. It is well maintained and beautifully presented.

Hydra island has no motorized vehicle. Donkey or foot is your mode of transport and life slows down to relfect this pace.

Hydra is a small island just off the south east coast of Argolida. Hydra has many sides to it. To some it is a painter's paradise, to others it is a fashionable place to go for the weekend while others may adore its narrow streets and lanes, multitude of little, mostly pebbly places to swim, its lack of motorized vehicles, traditional way of life and its miles of paths that lead all round the island making it a pleasant adventure to set off from town and see where you might end up. The town makes its way up to the top of the island making the climb well worth while as you get a bird's eye view. The island also has museums, art galleries, little churches and monasteries to discover as well as good restaurants, nice bars and water-side cafes. A little way away from Hydra Town is an organised beach where watersports are available. Take day-trips to Athens, Epidavros or one of the nearby islands such as Spetses, Poros or Aegina. The rest is for you to discover.
