Wintonhill Farmhouse is one of the largest self-catering houses in the Lothians, only half an hour's drive from Edinburgh in East Lothian. The imposing location of Wintonhill, above Winton House and overlooking the Lammermuir and Pentland Hills, boasts fabulous views and provides one of the best vantage points in the county.
Wintonhill Farmhouse has:
• 6 bedrooms (2 doubles including a family room and 4 interchangeable from double to twin), sleeping 12-14.
• Four bathrooms with showers and baths with each guest supplied with bathrobe, slippers, set of 3 towels and toiletries
• There is a large farmhouse kitchen with range cooker, dishwasher and utility area with washing machine and dryer.
• Games room with pool table, CD player and good selection of board games
Wintonhill is available on a flexible basis as self-catering accommodation by the week, weekend or weekdays. Meals can be arranged for any occasion, and Wintonhill Farmhouse is perfect for entertaining with a sitting room(with open fire)and a dining room, as well as a games room. Visitors are provided with a welcome pack and recommendations on local activities, restaurants and places to see.There are extensive gardens with plenty of parking space, a patio, barbeque area and a walled orchard, ideal for football! You can even work on your golf swing in the practice bunker!.
Pencaitland is a small village situated between Tranent and Haddington in East Lothian, just a half a hour drive from Edinbirgh City Centre. East Lothian is known for it's historic villages, fantastic sandy beaches, 10% of the world's link golf courses and many award winning tourist attractions including The Scottish Seabird Centre and The Museum of Flight
