The spacious detached cottage sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms and retains many original features including exposed wooden beams and a working open fire. With its 20 foot master bedroom, state-of-the-art bathroom, beautiful country kitchen and South facing garden, Lilac Cottage is the perfect place to get away from it all, yet is centrally located for exploring all the sites of the Peak District.

Just 10 minutes from the beautiful spa town of Buxton and the wonderfully pretty little town of Bakewell, Lilac Cottage is ideal for getting away from it all but is also centrally located for exploring all the sites of the Peak District. This is great walking country, there is safe off-road cycling on the Tissington Trail, Chatsworth House is nearby and there are lots of great things for kids, from Speedwell Caverns to the Heights of Abraham or for the very brave, we're also only 40 minutes from Alton Towers.

Notes on the Rental Rates
Prices quoted are for a full week Saturday 3pm to Saturday 10am and include welcome pack, bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and initial coal provided. 3 and 4 night breaks are available out of peak season and all year round on a late availability basis at 70% of the weekly tariff.

All bedrooms have views over the garden, rustic pine furniture and have been carefully designed with co-ordinated accessories and beautiful soft furnishings.
