Lys has been lovingly renovated and has wonderful views from the mezzanine, over the local vine-yards and countryside.

Wherever possible we have exposed the beautiful original stonewalls and used the original beams to create some outstanding features.

Lys is perfect for a couple plus baby / small child. We have comfortably furnished the lounge area, and included a TV, dvd hifi. books and games. The kitchen / dining room is open plan, the kitchen is modern and fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, cooker and microwave. French doors lead outside to a very private rose scented patio with BBQ and garden furniture.

The main bedroom is on the L shaped mezzanine floor. There is a comfortable sofa where, in the evening, you can enjoy the views across to the illuminated church at Puy Notre Dame. We also have a cot, which can be divided off by a screen.
There are spectacular views across the countryside from the bedroom windows. The bathroom has a shower, hand basin and toilet.
We serve wonderful home cooked evening meals on selected evenings, all served to you in your garden or diningroom accompanied by local wines from our wine list.

This restored former barn, is nestled amongst vineyards surrounded by lovely countryside, fields filled with sunflowers, maize and vines which provide a wonderful backdrop to this glorious area in the Parc Nationale. Yet we are only only 5 minutes from Doue la Fontaine and 15 minutes from stunning Saumur with its fabulous romantic chateau and magical Loire River. The beaches of the Vendee are within easy driving distance.

To get to us, we are within easy driving distance of the ferry ports and the option, of flying with low cost airlines, into Angers, Nantes, Poitiers or Tours.
