There are just over 200 wooden steps leading down to the cove, the views simply take your breath away and once on the beach, you can bathe in calm crystal blue waters. It is a very popular cove and well worth the all the steps to spend some time there. Praia do Camilo is accessed easily by foot from the apartment within a few minutes. Ponta da Piedade is another place that is a must to visit, a lighthouse in a prominent position on the southern corner of the bay of Lagos. It is surrounded by bizarre rock formations and fascinating grottos. You can reach Ponte de Piedade either by foot, or by car, on the same road which leads to Praia Dona Ana and Praia do Camilo.
